Frederick E. NorthAmerican, 1847 - 1940
Frederick E. North was born about 1847. After serving in the Civil War, he became a photographer. He was active in Meriden, Connecticut about 1868, in New Britain about 1871, and in Rockville about 1874 to 1879. According to his obituary, he spent fifteen years in Mexico taking tintypes. In 1900, he was living in Springfield, Massachusetts. He died in Springfield on February 6, 1940.
