Henry E. Rockwell
American, about 1811 - 1882
BiographyHenry E. Rockwell was born in Connecticut about 1811. In 1848, he published a map of Connecticut in Winsted; the 1850 Federal Census shows him living in Barkhamsted, working a reporter. In 1837, he was principal of the Winsted High School. By 1870, he had moved to Washington, D.C., where he lived until his death in 1882.
