Punderson, Crisand & Co.

American, 1869 - 1873 or 1874
BiographyLemuel S. Punderson, Emil Crisand, and Edwin Robbins were partners in Punderson, Crisand & Co., a New Haven firm that specialized in lithography and job printing. Punderson was in business for himself in the 1850s and the business name appears as Punderson & Crisand on an 1863 lithograph. The name Punderson, Crisand & Co. is so far first documented on a map dated 1869, but the firm may have been in existence a few years earlier. The firm is still listed as Punderson, Crisand & Co. in the 1873 New Haven directory, but by 1875, the name has reverted to Punderson & Crisand.
