BiographyThe Glastonbury Tercentenary Committee was organized in 1935 to oversee the Glastonbury's celebration of Connecticut's Tercentenary, which took place in October of that year. Many townspeople, including Herbert T. Clark and Robert O. Rider, participated in the Committee. At the time, no local history society existed.
