Eastford Historical SocietyAmerican, founded 1966
Fifteen residents of the town of Eastford, Connecticut met together in March 1966 and formed the Eastford Historical Society. Harold D. Carpenter was the first chairman of the society; Mrs. Lennox F. Beach was the first secretary. The society published a map of Eastford in 1976.
