Laurie & Whittle

Robert Laurie and James Whittle were assistants of the British print publisher Robert Sayer and took over his business following his death in 1794. Laurie retired from business in 1812, and Whittle continued in partnership with Laurie's son, doing business as Whittle & Laurie, until his own death in 1818.
