BiographyAccording to the inscription on Patrick May's Map of Sacketts Harbor, printed and pubished in Bristol, Connecticut in 1815, he served as a soldier at Sacketts Harbor for two years. No Connecticut soldier by that name served during the War of 1812, so May may have come from another state.
