Ed Vebell

Edward Joseph "Ed" Vebell was born May 25, 1921 in Illinois. During World War II, he served as an illustrator for Stars and Stripes and other army publications. After the war, he became a successful illustrator of books and magazines, known for his accurate representations of historical scenes. He lived in Westport, Connecticut.
