Reuben J. Ross Jr.

BiographyReuben J. Ross, Jr. was born in New York City on July 1, 1918. He received his B.A. from Princeton University and served in the Air Force during World War II. After the war, he received his M.S. and Ph.D. from Yale. He taught geology at Wesleyan University from 1948 to 1952. From 1952 until he retired in 1980, he was the Ordovician Specialist in the Denver Office of the United States Geological Survey.
