Daniel Saint John

Daniel Saint John was born in 1761. He came to Hartford from Sharon, Connecticut, when he was elected to the State Legislature and apparently remained in the capital city. He served as a surveyor for the Aetna Insurance Company during the 1820s and collaborated with Nathaniel Goodwin on a survey of Hartford made in 1824. He died on September 12, 1846 and is buried in Hartford's Old North Cemetery.
