BiographyThe partnership between Mather, Case, Tiffany & Burnham is only documented by the imprint on one map in the Connecticut Historical Society collection and cannot have lasted for very long. Case, Tiffany & Burnham can be documented at 12 Trumbull Street in Hartford between 1843 and 1844. Joseph H. Mather & Co. appears at the same address in 1847 and 1848. It may be that the two firms occupied the same building and occasionally collaborated on printing and publishing projects.
