G. W. Burt

The name "G. W. Burt, C.E." appears on a New Map of Hartford and Suburbs, published by the New York Map Company in 1896. However, the name "L. W. Burt, C.E." appears on the printed covers of the book. Luther W. Burt (1848-1921) was a civil engineer active in Hartford, Connecticut. No trace of a civil engineer named G. W. Burt has been found and it is possible the name is an error.
