James P. Bogart

BiographyJames P. Bogart was born in New Haven on 28 February 1852. He attended the Sheffield Scientific School at Yale University. Following graduation, he worked as a surveyor and engineer for the city of Bridgeport and was later employed by the Connecticut Shell Fish Commission to make an extensive survey of the Connecticut coast. He died in 1903.
