Chase's

Chase's is not listed in the Checklist of Connecticut Photographers. James S. Chase and W. H. Chase were both active as daguerreotypists in Hartford in the 1850s and 1860s, but neither was listed at 311 Main Street. The firm's imprint appears on a portrait of a Civil War soldier, but they are not otherwise known.
