Sunbeam Gallery

The mount on a tintype portrait of a Civl War soldier bears the imprint of the Sunbeam Gallery, 297 Chapel Street, New Haven. The gallery apparently specialized in "Gem Miniatures and Card Ferrotypes" with four to twenty-eight images taken at the same time using a special camera with multiple lenses.
