Leon H. R. Moquin

Leon H. R. Moquin was born on 29 April 1924 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He was raised in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, Massachusetts, and attended Springfield Technical High School. He served in the 8th Air Force based in England during World War II, flying twenty-three combat missions. He worked in aviation all his life including as a flight instructor and in airport management.

He married Gloria Lambert of Indian Orchard, and they had five children: Lynn; Deborah; Keith; Kent; and Kyle. Leon died on 24 December 2010 and is buried in the Massachusetts Veteran's Cemetery in Agawam, Massachusetts. He married Gloria. Leon died on 24 December 2010.
