Horace L. BundyAmerican, 1839 - 1918

Horace L. Bundy was born in Hardwick, Vermont about 1839. His father was a portrait painter and Bundy became a well-known portrait photographer, first in Providence, Rhode Island, and then in Middletown, Connecticut where he did much work for Wesleyan University. He moved to Hartford in 1872 and opened a studio at 368 Main Street. He retired about 1910 and died in Hartford in March 1918.
