William T. Marchant

BiographyWilliam T. Marchant was born in Hartford, Connecticut and began his career as a draftsman with the architectural firm of Hapgood & Hapgood. He designed the William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut, other schools and public buildings, and many homes in the West End of Hartford and West Hartford. Much of his domestic architecture is in the Colonial Revival style. The Connecticut Historical Society has a large collection of drawings for over 400 projects designed by Marchant.
