Oliver Pelton

BiographyOliver Pelton was born on 31 August 1798 in Portland, Connecticut. He was married to Julia Pelton. He lived in East Hartford, Connecticut, and worked as engraver, at one time working in partnership with W. D. Terry as Pelton & Terry. He engraved bank notes and produced a number of book illustrations. He died on 15 August 1882 in East Hartford.
