BiographyStephen Williams was born 14 May 1693, the son of Reverend John and Eunice Williams, in Longmeadown, Massachusetts. He was taken captive by Indians on 29 February 1704, and taken to Canada, returned to Boston, Massachusetts 21 November 1705. He was educated at Harvard, and ordained on 17 October 1716. He married Abigail Davenport (1696-1766) on 3 July 1718. They had ...John (1720-1791), Stephen (1722-1795), Eunice (1723-1805), Warham (1726-1788), Samuel (1729-1807), Davenport (1731-1758), Martha (1733-1825), Nathan (b. 1735). He married second, Mrs. Sarah Burt (about 1706-1790), the widow of Deacon Nathaniel Burt and daughter of David Chapin, of Chicopee, Massachusetts on 17 September 1767. The Reverend Stephen Williams died on 10 June 1782.
