BiographyCJ Fox Portraits is a firm begun when Charles J. Fox began painting portraits around 1887. He trained his son Leo Fox in portrait painting, and they were commissioned mostly to work from photographs. The firm continues today with Charles A. Fox's grandson, James A. Fox. Most all of the corporate work done by the studio was done by Leo and James Fox.
