Nathan Lord

American, 1738 - 1833
BiographyNathan Lord was born on 27 November 1738 at Lords Bridge, Norwich, Connecticut. (Later known as Baltic.) He was the son of Eleazor Lord (1699-1786) and Zerviah Leffingwell (1709-1751). He married Abigail Ingraham (1742-1770) on 31 May 1764. Abigail died in childbirth, and he married second, Mary Lathrop Nevins (1751-1836). He had a total of 16 children. He was Deacon of Hanover Sprague Congregational Church from 20 October 1796. He inherited part of Plain Hills and a portion of Wequonnock, Connecticut. He died on 1 October 1833, and was buried in Old Sprague Cemetery.
