BiographyPeter Grasso lived and worked in the Hartford, Connecticut area. He played baseball in the greater Hartford area from the late 1930s until the mid 1950s. The teams he played on included Hartford Hospital, Cushman Chuck, and St. Michael's Church; he worked at all of the companies with which he played. Peter Grasso went on to become a part time Pittsburg Pirates baseball scout in the New England area in the 1970s and 1980s. Peter Grasso married Rita Ferraro who had two children from her first marriage, Marie Tomassino and Frank Tomassino, and they had two more children, Donald "Butch" Grasso, and Carol Grasso. He's buried in St. Benedict's Cemetery.
