Albert G. WalkerAmerican, 1836 - 1902

Albert G. Walker was born in Connecticut in 1836. He was the son of Polly and Nathaniel Walker, a farmer in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Albert Walker worked as a spoonmaker at the cutlery works in Naubec for many years, and also worked at the Williams' Brothers Company. While the 1860 census lists him as a spoonmaker, the 1880 census lists Albert Walker as a farmer in Glastonbury. Walker was also an entertainer; his extensive collection of props for his magic act are in the Connecticut Historical Society collections.

Albert Walker married Matilda Schelding of Glastonbury. They had two children, Edna Elizabeth and Howrd Albert. Albert Walker died at his home in Glastonbury in December 1902. He was 65.
