Petrie-Lewis Mfg. Co.

According to the 1936 New Haven City Directory, the Petrie-Lewis Mfg. Co. was incorporated in 1923 and continued until at least 1960, manufacturing toys and games, but most prominently magic tricks. They evidently stayed in the same building the whole time -- 157 Valley Road. In 1936, the President was John A. Petrie, and the Secretary-Treasurer was J. Walter Petrie. In 1960, J. Walter Petrie was President and Treasurer.
