Lucy Newton

BiographyLucy Newton was born 28 March 1768 in Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Ann Smith Newton and Ezekiel Newton; Ann Smith was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Smith of Milford. She married Philo Hodge (1756-1842) on 1 January 1789; they had many children, including Chauncey Hodge (1791-1853). The Hodges lived in Woodbury, Connecticut. Lucy Newton Hodge died 1 June 1853 in Roxbury, Connecticut.
