Ellen Eliza Moore

Ellen Eliza Moore was born on 30 December 1828 and died 14 November 1860. She was the daughter of Lucy Allen Moore (1799-1862) and Deacon Roswell Moore (1793-1857). She had two siblings: Roswell Allen Moore (b. 1832), and the artist, Nelson Augustus Moore (1824-1902).

Note: Ellen Eliza Moore should not be confused for her niece, Ellen Maria Moore (b. 1861), the daughter of Nelson Augustus Moore. Ellen Maria Moore was a well-known miniature painter.
