Lois V. Schaeffer

Lois V. Schaeffer was born on 15 November 1915. As a child, she lived in Wethersfield, Connecticut. She attended Hartford Art School and the College of Fine Arts at Syracuse University. Besides being active as a painter, she was also a book illustrator. During World War II, she illustrated training manuals for the United States Navy. Her first husband, Robert C. Taylor, died in 1961, and she married John C. Davison in 1964. She died on 11 January 2002 in Sedona, Arizona.
