Lydia Smith Morgan

Lydia Smith Morgan was born in Colchester, Connecticut on 7 October 1806, the daughter of Avery and Jerusha (Gardner) Morgan. She married Judge Eliphalet Adams Bulkeley in Colchester, Connecticut, 31 January 1830.

Eliphalet and Lydia had at least six children: Mary Morgan (1833-1835); Charles Edwin (1835-1864); Morgan Gardner (1837-1922); William Henry (1840-1902); Mary Jerusha (1843-1921) (who later married Leverett Brainard); Eliphalet Adams (1847-1848).

Lydia died on 9 August 1895, and is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetey in Hartford, Connecticut.
