BiographyAbagail Collins was born in Enfield, Connecticut in about 1774 the daughter of Abagail Abbe. Her grandfather was Captain Thomas Abbe of the Revolutionary Army. Among her ancestors is Nathaniel Collins, first minister of Enfield, Connecticut and Governor William Bradford of Plymouth, Massachusetts. On 4 August 1795 she married Simeon Olmstead (1774-1831) of Enfield, Connecticut. She died on 11 October 1858.
