Minnie Tatem Satterlee

BiographyMinnie Tatem Satterlee was born 14 February 1867 in Tolland, Connecticut. She was the daughter of James Avery Billings Satterlee (1831-1879) and Effie Weed Satterlee (1865-1950). Minnie married Reverend Samuel William Derby (1862-1926) on 6 April 1893 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Rockville, Connecticut. They had three children: Paul Satterlee Derby (1894-1969); Earl Satterlee Derby (died in infancy 1896); and Marguerite Satterlee Derby (1898-1966). Minnie Tatem Satterlee Derby developed cancer, and she died on 22 November 1908 in White Haven, Pennsylvania. She was buried on 26 November in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford, Connecticut.
