Reverend Samuel Nott

BiographyReverend Samuel Nott of Franklin, Connecticut, was born 23 January 1754. He graduated from Yale College in 1780, and he was trained in theology by Jonathan Edwards the Younger. Reverend Nott was Pastor in Franklin from 1782 to 1852, and he was one of the founders of the Missionary Society of Connecticut. He had eleven children. His autobiography, written in his own hand, is in the Congregational House archives. Reverend Samuel Nott died 26 May 1853.
