General Andrew Ward V

Andrew Ward V of Guilford was born on 19 November 1727. He married Diana Hubbard (1733-1798) on 7 September 1750. They had two daughters, Roxanna (Mrs. Eli Foote and Diana (Mrs. Abraham Chittenden). In May 1756, Andrew Ward V bought a "homestead" in East Guilford, Connecticut, from Joseph Lee; later that year, Ward and his father bought a larger tract of land adjoining the first, and they lived there until May 1761. On 4 May 1780, David Naughty sold Andrew Ward, probably Andrew Ward V, two acres at Nut Plains. Andrew Ward died on 10 January 1799.
