Cortlandt F. Luce

BiographyCortlandt F. Luce came to Hartford in 1915, when he purchased the architectural practice of Edward T. Hapgood. He continued the business under Hapgood's name until 1927. During this period he was the principal architect for the development of the West Hill area of West Hartford, Connecticut. He also designed other houses in Hartford and West Hartford and in the greater Hartford area. The Connecticut Historical Society has a large collection of his architectural drawings.
