Moses Fox

Moses Fox was the son of Hannah Bamberger Fox (1814-1875) and Gerson Fox (1811-1880), the founder of G. Fox & Co. of Hartford, Connecticut. His first marriage was to Sophie Korn (1862-1883). They had a daughter Sophie Fox (1883-1893) who died young. He married Theresa Stern (1865-1932) on 1 July 1886; they had at two daughters, Beatrice Fox Auerbach (Mrs. George S. Auerbach) (1887-1968), and Fannie "Fan" Fox Auerbach Samuels (Mrs. Leslie R. Samuels) (1896-1981). Moses Fox was the President of G. Fox & Co.
