BiographyThe highly successful lithography firm of E. B. & E.C. Kellogg was formed on July 21, 1840 as the successor to D.W. Kellogg & Co. E. B. & E. C. Kellogg, the younger brothers of Daniel Wright Kellogg, had been managing the firm since about 1836, when Daniel went west. In 1847, E. B. & E. C. Kellogg formed an unsucessful partnership with John Chenevard Comstock. They resumed doing business as E.B. & E.C. Kellogg in 1855 and continued under that name until 1867, when a new partnership with William H. Bulkeley and Frank Bulkeley led to the creation of Kellogg & Bulkeley.
