BiographyPrudence Hale was born 19 August 1762. She was a member of the Hale family of Glastonbury, Connecticut. On 1 February 1797, Prudence Hale married Israel Foote (1755-1826). They had at least two daughters, Sophia Foote Dexter (1800-1876) and Mary Foote Benjamin. Prudence Hale Foote died 25 December 1819.
