Rose Churchill

BiographyRose Churchill was born in 1878 in New Britain to Frederick Hosea Churchill and Sarah Wells Blinn Churchill, and as a young woman studied art in various art schools throughout New England, including the school of Miss Amy Sacker in Boston. She was active throughout her life as a watercolor painter, and was one of the founders of the Connecticut Watercolor Society. During the last forty years of her life, she lived in Farmington. She never married. She died in 1973.
