Lucy Morgan

Lucy Morgan was born 4 February 1811 in West Springfield, Massachusetts, the second daughter of Joseph Morgan (1780-1847) and Sally Spencer b. 1787). In 1817 she moved with her parents to Hartford. She was educated at Miss Emma Willard's school in Troy, New York. On 30 July 1832 she married James Goodwin (1803-1878) of Hartford. She lived at the Goodwin family mansion on Woodland Street in Hartford, and died on 19 September 1890.
