John Munson

John Munson purchased a pewter plant in Yalesville, Connecticut, from Samuel Simpson in 1846. Munson operated the shop until 1852, when it became the nucleus of the newly formed Meriden Britannia Company. John Munson was one of the founding members of the Meriden Britannia Company, established in 1852
