BiographyPrudence Hollister was born 29 December 1801, the daughter of Alexander Hollister (1777-1858) and Prudence Goodrich (1777-1838). Alexander Hollister was a S. Glastonbury farmer. Prudence Hollister married Benjamin Hollister (1795-1869) on 9 December 1824. She and Benjamin resided in Glastonbury; she died on 10 February 1880.
They had six children: Shelton (1825-1855), Maria Prudence (b. 1828), Isabella (1831-1832), Adelaide (1833-1843), James (1836-1875) and Isaac Newton (b. 1838).
