Levi Gilman

Levi Gilman was the son of Lucy Colt Gilman and Josiah Gilman. He was baptised in East Hartford, Connecticut, on 9 June 1745 by Reverend Samuel Woodbridge. Levi Gilman married Achsah Williams (b. about 1744), said to be the daughter of Elizabeth and William Williams, in about 1765. Their first child, Oliver Gilman (1766-1839), was born in 1766. Levi Gilman died in East Hartford, Connecticut, before 13 November 1776, when administration was granted on his estate.
