BiographyMaria Bissell was born 31 January 1793. She was the fifth of the seven children of Captain Aaron Bissell, Jr. (1761-1834) and Naomi Tudor Bissell. Her father kept the Bissell Tavern in East Windsor. Maria Bissell never married. She died 28 January 1848.
