Roger Wilson Dennis

BiographyRoger Dennis was born 11 March 1902 in New London, Connecticut where he lived his entire life. In about 1925 Roger married Edith with whom he had at least one child, Roger Dennis, Jr. He was primarily a landscape artist working in the American Impressionist style influenced by the Old Lyme Colony. He was the chief conservator at the Lyman Allyn Museum of Art in New London, and he taught art at Connecticut College. Roger died 13 December 1996.
