Doctor Timothy Hall was born 4 June 1758 in Brookfield, Massachusetts, son of Timothy and Allass Smith Hall. He married twice, but there is no information known about his first wife or the date of that marriage. He married again on 27 September 1798, to Mary Goodwin. He served as a surgeon in the army during the Revolution and witnessed the execution of Major Andre. He was a physician in East Hartford, Connecticut. With Doctor Samuel Flagg, Doctor Hall set up an inoculation hospital in East Hartford for smallpox, on 17 September 1791. He also served as treasurer and vice-president of the Connecticut Medical Society. Dr. Timothy Hall died 4 August 1844 in East Hartford, Connecticut.
