Benjamin Newberry

Newberry, Benjamin (1765–post 1834). Born to Jerusha Stoughton and Benjamin Newberry of the eastern section of Windsor, Benjamin Newberry likely trained with Eliphalet Chapin in East Windsor. By 1789 he was living and working in Wethersfield; in 1790 he married Abigail Dickinson (1770-1813) of Wethersfield. After 1820 he may have worked with his son Henry, a Wethersfield shoemaker, until at least 1834.
