Catharine Sheldon

Catharine Sheldon was born about 1828. She was the daughter of Alice Lawrence Sheldon (1787-1866) and Charles Sheldon of Hartford, Connecticut, and the sister of Sarah Sheldon Hastings (Mrs. Parsons Hastings) (d.1911) . Her mother was the great granddaughter of John Lawrence (1719-1802), treasurer of Connecticut from 1769 to 1789. Catharine Sheldon died when she was eleven years old, on 3 February 1840. She is buried in the Old North Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.
