Katherine Cole

BiographyKatherine Cole was born 28 November 1745. She was originally from Connecticut, the daughter of Catharine and James Cole. She married Lieutenant Aaron Gaylord; she and her husband moved with their children to Forty Fort in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. Her husband was killed in the Massacre of Wyoming on 3 July 1778. Katherine Gaylord then returned to Connecticut with her children. She died in 1840.
