Ruth Trappan

Ruth Trappan (1904-1997) was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She spent most of her life as an art teacher/head of the art department for the West Orange, New Jersey, school department. In 1960, she purchased a Federal period house in Yarmouth for retirement. She was active in retirement with Greater Portland Landmarks, a preservation society.
