BiographyIn 1894, Walter Scott Lenox formed the Ceramic Art Company with partner Jonathan Coxon, Sr. He formed Lenox, Inc., in 1906, and concentrated on high quality wares made for the high end market. Customers included Shreve, Crump & Low, Tiffany's, and the White House. In 1930, designer Frank Homes introduced the modern style to Lenox china. Lenox has since diversified and owns several different companies, all producing high-end decorative arts.
